Welcome to Bilingüito!

I’m Janeth Miranda, the creative force behind Bilingüito, and I’m thrilled to have you here! I grew up in Guanajuato, Mexico, and moved to the US when I was a teenager. Let me tell you what we’re all about…

Our Story

When my first daughter was born in 2017, as a new mom, a lot of things were uncertain, but some things were clear to me:

1. I wanted to transmit to my daughter the best values and knowledge that had been and continue to be transmitted to me. Most of which I understand better in the language of my heart: Spanish.
2. I wanted family to be one of the most important things for her, which included being able to communicate well with my parents and mother-in-law, who are Spanish speakers.
3. I wanted to equip her with abilities that could help her find the type of job that would support her goals as an adult. And you guessed it, speaking Spanish was one of them.

Did you notice the constant? Helping her to learn Spanish was key to reach my goals.

I began reading to her in Spanish, engaging in Spanish games and activities, and even creating my own Spanish children’s books. I thought it was an awesome idea to share everything we were doing with the world, and that’s how Bilingüito came to be.

Being a graphic designer and illustrator, I couldn’t resist creating designs inspired by our folklore, now featured in our products. My daughters absolutely adored them, what can I say! They love being involved in my creative process. So what you see on our website, is really from MY family to yours.

4. Creativity and Education. We value creativity as a means of learning and expression. Through our books, games, and activities, we aim to make language learning fun and engaging, inspiring a lifelong love for Spanish.
